The Group will join the Shelter Island Lions Club for their 8th annual roadside and beach cleanup. This island-wide event begins at 9:30 a.m. with free coffee and bagels at the Center Firehouse. At 10 a.m., you’ll head out to your selected cleanup site, and then return to the firehouse at noon for a free barbecue.
Gloves, pickers, and bags will be provided. The Shelter Island Highway Department will pick up the full garbage bags at the various sites.
